Winsor Music is proud to announce that the 2016-2017 concert season marks our twentieth anniversary. This celebratory season is all about visiting friends, old and new. Our opening concert features the La Fenice Quintet, a group of long-time friends who seem happiest when playing together, and the Boston premiere of a work by one of our dear friends, Lev Mamuya. An alumnus of ProjectSTEP, Lev began his association with Winsor Music when he was only eight years old. He is currently entering his second year of the Harvard/NEC program. Lev has performed on four Chamber Series concerts, the most of any of Winsor Music’s young artists, and our September concert will showcase his fifth composition written for Peggy Pearson and the musicians of Winsor Music.
