Our annual spring benefit concert supports Winsor Music’s education programs, which include participatory children’s concerts at inner-city schools,our mentoring program for high school students, and our largest educational endeavor, scholarships to summer music camps for talented young musicians of color.

Peggy writes: “Music camps are a crucial part of a young musician’s education. Having been fortunate enough to attend or teach at several of them, I have seen the growth that can occur with this kind of intense study. As a student, it is inspiring to be surrounded by other kids who love classical music, and playing chamber music can provide the spark that makes a lifelong difference to a young person. In some ways, I think that this is the most important thing that Winsor Music does.”
