The exuberant music on Winsor Music’s hour-long season opener is inspired by many different kinds of dance forms and traditions. These are pieces that will make you want to jump out of your seat and boogie! We’re thrilled to share with you the many talents of David Coleman, both as a pianist and composer on this program. David is an incredibly versatile pianist, and is comfortable in many styles, from gospel to classical. This concert will feature David’s dynamism on the keyboard in David Baker’s piano trio, Boogie Woogie, and as a composer in his Sonata con Fusion with Gabby on violin.
