Boston’s favorite oboist Peggy Pearson plays Bach's beloved cantata, “Ich habe genug” BWV 82. “…this is music she plays in a state of eloquent grace.” —Boston Globe. Rebecca Printz, Bach Institute alumna, joins Winsor for this performance. In celebration of John Harbison's 80th birthday year we will feature Rafael Popper-Keizer in Invention on a Theme of William Shakespeare. The music of 17th century Venice comes to Brookline in a new, rich arrangement by Diaz of Strozzi's madrigal. The concert closes with one of the most perfect pieces of music ever written, Mozart's Clarinet Quintet.
