The “strikingly beautiful” La Fenice Quintet reunites for a concert of Haydn, Faure, and a remembrance of composer Gunther Schuller with his “Sonata for Oboe and Piano.” La Fenice is the purest kind of chamber group: old friends who love playing with each other, and who perform at the highest level. They’ve done so around the country to critical acclaim, and they are excited and happy to be joining us this season.
